"Can I change the menu or get something different to what you have on your pizza package options?"
For sure you can. The menu options on our website are just an example, but they are also the most popular selection within their range. However, we’re constantly inventing new pizza styles and also have a thousand different pizza recipes in our pizza passionate mind and soul, here at ROVING PIZZA. So if you want something particular which you do not see listed, please talk to us . . .
"How many pizzas can be cooked at once in the mobile pizzeria oven, if required?"
Being a large oven, designed for large parties in mind, the size of oven does matter. 8-15 pizzas can fit in the oven at one time. We generally make 9 inch pizzas, of which 12-15 pizzas will comfortably fit in the oven at one time – this is double the size of some other mobile operators.
"How do I make or hold a booking date?"
To confirm your booking or hold your date we require a deposit. The deposit equals 30% of the total invoice. Please put your name and the date of your party as a reference so we can keep track of your deposit.
"When do I pay the outstanding balance?"
If you are paying the outstanding balance via the internet or bank deposit, please ensure payment is made 2-4 working days prior to our arrival (if not done prior).
If you are paying the outstanding balance with cash, please ensure payment is made upon our arrival at your function.
"Can I pay with a cheque?"
Payment with a cheque is fine, but please ensure payment is posted/delivered to ROVING PIZZA at least 14 days before your function date. No cheques on day of party can be accepted (sorry).
"Is set-up and pack up included in the pizza serving time?"
No, it’s not. We’ll arrive a couple of hours early and we’ll get the oven up to temperature so we can then use the wood fired oven as it heats up to cook the ingredients that we will use on site. We'll prepare the food right in front of you, and it's not done on your dime. If your party starts at 7pm and you have ordered menu option 1, then we’ll arrive around 4-5pm, prepare all the food, etc, and we'll feed you and your guests from 7-10pm. We'll then pack up after the allocated timing (that is e.g., 7-10pm) and say our goodbyes.
"How far will you travel? Is there a surcharge if we're far away?"
Dependant on the location of your party, a bare minimum distance surcharge may apply. Most Sydney city/inner west areas have no surcharge. Costs for areas are generally divided into council municipalities, and can be found below. If you are not sure, please feel free to contact us for further clarification.
